Hi,
I am looking for BDM information for the following persons, all born in Victoria and possibly in the Colac-Otway region;
***
Parents were William BELL and Anita THOMAS - I have their marriage (Broadford) and death details (Geelong) - but no birth details for Anita who was apparently born in Tasmania (William was born in Scotland).
All of the above married and had families. Some may have relocated with family to Queensland.
Any information or research leads appreciated.
Thank you.

Can you please confirm that these people that you are naming and identifying are no longer living.

To be honest I have no idea if any of these persons are no longer living.
Not included in the list are another sister and brother who are deceased (mid 90's and early 2000's respectively).

This information is not available. Indexes only extend to 1920.

There's Australia's privacy issues, and also it is a NO NO re living persons at RChat.

Cando and majm,
I take note of your posts and guidance on the subject. :-[
Since most of my family research is concentrated in Scotland I can get "limited" information from Scottish records website (name, year, location) on living relatives - so guess we're a bit spoiled.
If that is the rules for Australia then so be it. :-X
Thanks for your posts.

I think you missed the point.....not the rules for Australia.....

Please do not post requests asking for help to find (possibly) living relatives or friends.
RootsChat is a forum for searching for ancestors. Anything posted on the internet is in the public domain where anybody can see this information. To protect people and their identities we do not encourage the posting of information about people who are or maybe still living.
Even with permission from the subject of a post we would seriously advise against giving too much information as to betray their identity.
There are Australian Electoral rolls to 1980 on a subscription based website and TROVE digitised newspapers to the mid fifties.

Hi plays54 :)
You should hit the "modify" button on your original post and then backspace over the names of people who you are not certain have passed away.
regards,
Ros
