I have found a burial at St George's in Hyde that I need more information on.
It was Sarah Bowden who was buried on 20th Aug 1869. Aged 65.
Does anyone have access to burial records or MI's for Hyde and can lookup for me?
It would be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Chris Nilsen.

The register just states:
Sarah Bowden, of Mottram, Buried 20 Aug 1869 aged 65
-
On familysearch, her residence is given as Mottram, as it is on Cheshirebmd.org.uk

Thank you both for the lookup.
It is interesting that she was buried in Hyde. There are no other references to Hyde in her life.
I wondered if she was buried with her husband, John.
As far as I can tell, he died sometime between 1838 & 1841 (last child born in 1838 and not in 1841census).
There are a few John Bowdens listed at freeBMD that could be him but no way to tell there.
If it is convenient to look again, would you be able to check if Sarah was buried with John?
Thank you.
Chris.
