Title: Elliot of the "Flex"

Hi does anyone have any info on the Elliot family who lived at a farm or district known as the "FLEX" spelling may vary. I know they were there approx 1915.
The location is borders ie  Roxburgh ,Dumfries

There's an item + photograph in the Hawick News and Border Chronicle, Fri 6 Jun 1919, entitled "An Interesting Gathering at Flex".
Amongst those named, and one of the four in the photo, is a Mr Elliot - identified as one of the old "Race Committee". I have seen separate reference to a James Elliot, Farmer, Flex sponsoring a race meeting.

Scotlandspeople 1915 Valuation Rolls has a James Elliot , Hawick Roxburgh , place , Flex Farm.
