I have recently found a connection to the Corbyn/Corbin family who owned a property/manor called Hall End - There are numerous articles for this family on the net, but most of the references are not sourced or dated very well.
The most recent Corbin in my tree is Margaret (b abt 1685) The male line I have (preceding her) is Joseph - John - Samuel - William - THomas - Richard - Nicholas - Thomas - John - William.
I have seen a reference that the wife of the eldest William was the dau of a knight - surname Blunt or perhaps Blount.
Does anyone have..
1) any reliable source material on this line
2) any reliable information on the Blunt / Blount connection.
Thanks in advance for any help

Many thanks Miriamkinga - thats certainly tidied up some of the timelines.
I have seen many references to an important source of Corbin ancestry - Muniments of Madresfield - but havent been able to track down the documnet on-line. Does anybody know whether/where it has been posted on the net or have a copy of the pages that are releant to the Corbins?

There's a reference to it on the familysearch website - maybe you can order it to view somewhere?

Following on from the earlier posts, I am trying to get some reliable sources for the William Corbyn referred to in the Upper Arley registers. In my earlier post I had positioned him as the son of Thomas, but am now seeking clarification on this point. William first appears in the Upper Arley registers in 1575. That also seems to be the 1st entry for any Corbyn at Upper Arley. This isnt very far away from Kingswinford, the home of the other documented Corbyns - does anyone know William's parents and how he is connected to the Corbyns of Kingswinford. I believe this family later moved to Hall End.
