Good morning,
I am trying to find Joseph LUMB in the 71 / 81 / 91 census. (I have him from 1901 onwards, living in Morpeth, Northumberland, census states he was born Barnsley, Yorkshire)
Joseph married 23/1/1892 Gateshead - Jane Yates, marriage cert states he was 27, Bachelor, occ: Tinsmith, Fathers name: Joshua Lumb, Occ:Tinsmith (address at time of marriage - 19 Milman??? Road, Gateshead).
Really appreciate any info you can offer
Many thanks

I found the following, which despite the place of birth, would appear to be him as it refers to his father as Joshua and brother James Henry but no address for them:
Attestation record 12/7/1887 23y 8m age Royal Artillery number 61761
JOSEPH LUMB, born 1864 GORBER, WAKEFIELD, YORKSHIRE occupation Tinner.
He did spend time in India but I’m afraid he was a naughty boy, it seems he had two spells in prison before being discharged as medically unfit in November 1891.
