Title: Charles Alfred Tibbles
Post by: Buckden on Saturday 07 March 15 13:57 GMT (UK)
Does anyone know how where I can find out the details of a case heard by Kent Assizes in late 1922.
I know that a Charles Alfred Tibbles was accused of bigamy, but would be very interested to find out what the outcome was and more interestingly what the sentence would have been. Thanks

Newspaper reports can be a good place to start.

Findmypast has free access this weekend although not all newspapers are covered.

This page gives details of his divorce and Army Service record

http://discovery.nationalarchives.gov.uk/results/r/?_q=Charles+Alfred+Tibbles+

which is probably a bit more useful
