Title: 6th sense with topics
Post by: Milliepede on Monday 23 February 15 14:21 GMT (UK)
Does anyone else get a sense when reading new topic titles what era they are going to be from?

A lot of the time just reading the name (obviously this is topics that have no date in the title  ;D ) leads me to suspect they are going to be 1600's or 1700's and invariably this is the case.

Anyone else find that?

Millie,

No I'm sorry I usually have little clue of what is in a topic at times, never mind what era it relates to. It would be really handy if I did though :)

The ones that say "please date this pretty lady" or "a date for this nurse please" always sound like an online dating service to me.

Ha! I like that idea. Maybe we can all get our elusive ancestors all paired up in that timewarp virtual dating agency.

And I'm never quite sure what exactly is required when a topic is entitled "Please help with burial"  ;D  but I get the spade out ready.
