Reginald J. Jackson who's wartime address was 20 Maytree Crescent, Watford, Hertfordshire was a Flight Engineer on 156 Squadron's Lancaster W4943 that was shot down on operations to Essen 27/28 May 1943 by Werner Streib. Streib’s 49th shoot down from a total of 64.
Reginald Jackson and my father Walter Layne were prisoners of war together at Stalag Luft VI and Stalag 357.
In my father's POW "Wartime Log" there are 50 prisoners named, https://wallyswar.wordpress.com/pow-log/
I am attempting to find a wartime photograph of each individual. So far of the 50 prisoners I have found photographs of 23 and am hopeful that through this site I might find a wartime photograph and have more information on Reginald Jackson.
My efforts so far can be seen here. https://wallyswar.wordpress.com/other-pows/
Regards, David Layne.

Hi David
Living family would seem to be in Hemel Hempstead.
Reginald's sister Ida B married William H Howard in 1939
2x daughters.
1x married a Mr Leppard
They appear to be living with their "children" in HH within the past "10 years"
