Title: Burial Look-up Request for BROOKS

Hi there,

I'd love to find out the burial location and details for the following two (from death registry)

June 1950 - Charles G Brooks aged 72 (1877/8)  Surrey Northern    5G 322

December 1947 Mary A Brooks aged 70 Surrey North Western 5G    621

They are my Grandma's grandparents - she's currently 91 and can't remember where they may have been buried etc

I found a will for a Charles Guilday Brooks-don't know if that is the G for his middle name that you have. He had lived at 14 Cambrian Road, Richmond, Surrey, and in his will he left £6, 557. You could probably get a copy of the will if this is the correct Charles.

The Mary A Brooks death relates to this

Mary Annie Brooks of 1 Johns Cottages Delta Road, Chobham (Widow) so it is possibly not the one you are after.  Admin - James Edward Brooks, Photographic Chemist

Yes after Charles George Brooks, these 2 deaths were suggested as possibilities I should follow up.

I guess it's looking like it might not be them.  Though the Mary Annie name is about right she died first (apparently her daughter was very upset how quickly her husbands moved on after her death).

Thank you for looking into it for me.  Unfortunately it isn't the right person as I'm after a Charles George Brooks.  Its looking like those 2 death entries aren't who I'm after.  Back to the drawing board I guess.
