I am new to rootschat and have come in very late to the discussion about Nathaniel Bryceson's diary and did not get a chance to read it when it appeared as I think on a blog. Is there anyway of reading it now?
I was searching for an ancestor's name on here and he was mentioned in the Nathaniel Bryceson Part 3 thread on here. It would be good to read more. Any suggestions please?

Hi Braytons
Not sure who your ancestor is who was mentioned in the diaries but if they were one of the Lea family I have a scrapbook of cuttings about the Lea family of Highgate as my grandmother was a Lea before she married, so I may have some relevant information for you.

Hello
Thank you for the offer but no I have no Leas in my tree.
Kind regards Braytons

Hello Braytons.
Would you mind letting us know which of the people Nathaniel mentioned in his diary is your ancestor?
I for one would love an excuse to revisit the diary and the people in it. As you have probably guessed it was an obsession for many of us throughout 2010 when it was published on the Westminster Archives website.
It's good to have some new blood interested in the diary. :)

Hello
I was idly searching for ancestor's names on rootschat and found this link http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=464660.msg3282574#msg3282574
which refers to Luke Yorke who is my Great Great Grandfather on my maternal side. Unfortunately I was not able to find the reference when I looked at the sections of diary that I could view and did not understand why Luke was mentioned in it. I was unable to find and search the whole diary as it seemed to have disappeared from the archive.

Thanks for letting us know Braytons. I will see what I can find. :)
Added: Sadly, links to the diary all seem to be broken. I will send some emails and try to find out how to access it again.

Thank you Stan!!
That is brilliant. I can now see the entry of Nathaniel mentioning Luke Yorke on 14th July 1846. History comes alive. I am so chuffed! He is my Great Great Grandfather.
