Title: Great Grandmother E Whitehead and child
Post by: fhaccord on Sunday 15 February 15 21:22 GMT (UK)
Hi
Can anyone tidy this up a bit - it was amongst my Great Uncles photos in his paybook when he was killed in WW1 so is a bit battered.
Many thanks
Frank

Rootschat wasn't working this morning, so I had a go at colouring this, hope you don't mind.

Curious to know whether your Whiteheads are from Yorkshire. Reason I am asking is that there is another Rootschatter researching Whitehead at the moment.

Thanks for the restores and apologies if this was a duplicate of a previous posting. I had a quick look at my online tree the other day and noticed I still had a crumpled photo of Edith. I had done some work on the wallet contents of my Great Uncle and had worked out that the lady in the pic was not my Great Grandmother but a Great Aunt , hence the name change.
The pictures are brilliant and I have found out that she died shortly after it was taken in really tragic circumstances, so they are extra special.
Thanks again
Frank
