Thanks Pam.
I have just begun to search this colorful member of the tree. He apparently may have married a few times and went under the alias of Bradley Frank Harde due to his extra curricular activities. :)
This info helps tremendously as I see my search broadens quite a bit from Halifax to California.
Thanks again

Franks fourth wife was a Rena Sommer and they had two boys born in California.
The Susan Voltz was his last wife whom was killed in a plane crash.

We aren't allowed to post details of anyone who might still be living but the latest available Canadian census is 1921.
If you want to trace the family in Nova Scotia then this site will help- put in only 'hazeld' in last name box and have a look at the results:

I've gone into the site and there is a marriage for a Annie E. Zwicker and Francis C. Hazeldine married 1922 in Halifax County. I can not read the names of her parents. Can any one help dis cipher the names please?
-
The groom's name & signature on the actual record is Frank (not Francis).
Annie Elizabeth Zwicker, born Bear River (Annapolis Co.)* was a widow. I'm also struggling to read the names of her parents.
However, are you sure these are the correct parents? I found what looks to be Frank & Annie Hazeldine living in Massachusetts in 1930 with a son Francis (different middle name) born c1925.
* 1st marriage & other records say Halifax so perhaps she was not born Annapolis Co.
-
Fairly certain that these are trhe right parents. Any idea who Annie was married to previously if she was a Widow? Frank apparently married a second time to a Olive Gross. Can't find a marriage though.
Thanks for taking a look at the report, it looked like it was Raleson or Rateson but very hard to read.
Thanks

Will start with the easy bit. Annie Elizabeth Bowman (26 Aug1888 N.s.-Dec.1966 Marlboro, Mass. according to at least one online tree) married (20 June 1910 Halifax) to Rufus Zwicker. Her parents Lawrence Bowman (m.1874) Mary R. Richardson. Rufus Zwicker died 31 Oct.1918 at Dartmouth, N.S. from influenza.
1930 Census, Athol (Worcester Co.), Mass. shows Frank Churchill Hazeldine, wife and 2 sons (Francis Gerald 1925-1993 and Robert Ernst 1926-1977). In the 1940 census Annie (as widowed Anne Hazeldine) is still in Athol with the 2 boys. No sign of another son.
At least one online tree says Frank Churchill Hazeldine born 18 Aug.1940 (after 1940 census) but his death record (1972 San Diego, California) shows birth 1 Jan.1939 in Canada. So. there are several possibilities-
1) FCH not a child of Frank & Annie adopted? related? or just belongs to another Hazeldine family?
2) FCH born after father died & just after 1940 census need to find Frank's death (can't see it in Mass. index) and birthdate would have to be the 1940 one
3) FCH is Annie's child (but not Frank's) seems strange she'd give him Frank's name
4) Frank deserted Annie & boys then Annie had child seems unlikely she'd name him after husband if he wasn't the father
Also seems strange to have a son Francis in 1925 then Frank in 1939/40

Is there any sign of a Frank Hazeldine marrying the Olive Gross after 1922 as I have this latest info to go with . Frank C Hazeldine born Aug. 1938 to Frank and Olive Hazeldine, Canada.
Thanks for the info and details already given, I'm going to hash through it all and try to make more sense of some of this info to make sure I'm following the right FCH as there appears to be two different ones. I'm thinking Frank Sr (1898) married twice and Frank Jr (1938) married several times.
Thanks again

There are LOTS of online trees for FCH- some possibly copied and others with conflicting information so it's not always easy to know what is factual.
One version says FCH died 1981 Toronto and another that he married Olive J. (no surname given) born 1896 died 1988.

Hi,
There is a single listing in Canada Voters lists 1974, District York, City of Toronto,
302 Dawes Road,
Hazeldine, Frank Churchill, retired
Hazeldine, Olive J.

I have it from reliable sources that Our FCH married Olive J as his second known wife. We know he died in 1972 in California and was buried as aka Bradley Frank Harde. Not sure why he was buried with this name perhaps he had a name change. conspiracy theories in the family that he was in trouble and went into a witness program.
Thanks everyone

Does anyone have pictures of Frank Churchill Hazeldine?

I apologize for the confusion as the information above is incorrect. FCH Sr. married Olive J.Cross and the FCH I was referring to was his son that died in 1972 in California as Bradley F Harde.
Very sorry for the wrong info stated previously.
