hi,trying to find marriage or william harold rimmer(from ormskirk,born approx 1895) and elizabeth bibby(born st helens,abt 1900)

any help would be great

In case you haven't already got it, it was in 1917 in Ormskirk according to FreeBMD.
Do you have any ancestors for Elizabeth?

Prescot is the registration district for St Helens and this is the only possible birth in that RD

Births March qtr 1896

The 1901 shows her parents as Robert & Mary - is that correct?

The 1901 has a William H Rimmer b Ormskirk aged 9 parents Ralph & Ellen
RG13 Piece 3544 Folio 67 Page 12

You will need to buy a copy of the 1917 marriage cert as www.lancashirebmd.org.uk shows it as a Registry Office/Registrar attended marriage which means it can't be looked up at the records office

This will confirm their ages and the names of their fathers

Freebmd shows 4 children born in Ormskirk between 1918 and 1928
