Hi. I am wanting to know anything on a Dannatt family from South Yorkshire. I actually think they are from Huddersfield. Anything at all that might help me will be useful. Thanks

Huddersfield is in West, rather than South, Yorkshire :)
Who were your Dannatts, and when are they thought to have been in Huddersfield?

I'm not quite sure on when they were in Huddersfield. But I know a John Anthony Dannatt who was born in 1941 in Huddersfield Hospital and died in 2008. If possible I am wanting to know his father and maybe even further back and any details about them. Thanks

OK then - so FreeBMD shows his birth registration details:
Jan-Mar 1941
John A DANNATT mother's maiden name RICHARDSON
Huddersfield vol 9a page 838.

Using those index details, you can order the birth certificate online from the GRO for £9.25 for details of his parents.

FreeBMD also shows three Dannatt/Richardson births in Grimsby in the 1930s, which may or may not be connected.
