Title: Who do I contact in Athlone, Westmeath

I want to get some research done in St Mary's Parish Athlone.  Does anyone know who I should contact or have any referrals to make?

You could try contacting The Scottish Association of Family History Societies.

There you can locate the nearest Family History Society (FHS) to your enquiry who will be able to advise you.

The above reply is a bit puzzling unless it's not Athlone in Ireland that you are looking for  :-\

Have you looked at St. Mary's Parish website? under Parish Office link is the following which looks hopeful "Genealogy requests followed up, if records available."

Thanks for your replies.  Yes it is Ireland and I've sent an email to the Parish Office.  Keep your fingers crossed!
