Any help with my mysterious Marquand branch would be wonderful. Most of the information I have is from wills.
Charles Marquand, a builder, lived on Horseferry Road, Westminister. He made his will in 1764, added a codicil in Oct 1767 and the will was proved in April of that year. He was of the parish of St John the Evangelist.
Charles son John Marquand became an architect. About 27 Feb 1764 he married Mary Cuthbert, widow of William Corry. Mary died about 1772. John died in Brixton, Surrey in 1810. John, when he died, was of the parish of Lambeth, Surrey.
It is not known whether John had daughter Sally with Mary or another woman. Sally was likley born in the 1770s.
I know this isn't much to go on but any help would be great!

Hi there not sure how old this post is or how you are getting on, my family are Marquands du St Andre, Le Loheirs Blondels and Le Masuier, amongst other surnames myself and my uncle have been researching our family tree for 5+ years now and the best place to start would be the Channel Islands, but just a tip , speaking from 100s of hours researching, it is complex, frustrating and you will with out a doubt find multiple errors, the Marquands have so far for us about a 900 year history and possible beyond on the island so good luck and have fun discovering your new family, remember there is lots of Marquand lineages pick the right one
