Do you want to mention a few names and dates of birth, to pinpoint your family?
Thanks

There are so many Cooke's and possibly some surnames spelt Cook, just need to sort out the links. William Cooke & John Cooke - we believe twins - born 1821. John married Mary Elizabeth Cooke (b1822), and one of their daughters, Alice Elizabeth Cooke, b1866, (they had two of this name, one died) married Thomas William Cooke, b1865, in 1892, witnesses were Walter Sandford Taylor and Mary Emma Cooke. We think Mary Emma was Alice's niece. John Cooke's parents were William and Mary, and Mary Elizabeth Cooke's parents were Charles Cooke and Alice Sandford, born c1872.
Hope this gives you a flavour of the family. Most were farmers around Alkington, Wolverley, Lacon, Wem and Loppington although John Cooke was a butcher in Aston Street, Wem in 1881 census.
