I have a William Orme marrying Ann Brudenell in Stonton Wyville in abt 1636.
They lived afterwards at Hanch Hall in Staffordshire . I believe that Ann was from a large family of 12 children. All baptised in Stonton Wyville. I think her parents were Thomas Brudenell and Dorothy Smith.
I thought it would be easy to trace the family of Brudenells back as they were wealthy landed gentry. However it is very confusing as there are lots by the same name and as they owned several large estates it is difficult to tell them apart.
Hope someone can give me a clue

That lot should get you back to William Brudenell & his wife Anne Grove in the 14th century.
