I can make out that he started at Vivid I, but I cannot make out the name of the base or ship immediately below 'Vivid I'. Would appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.

Many thanks Malky! Perhaps that will help someone decipher.

Hi Lambeho,
My late Father also served on Vivid 1. It was a Shore establishment:
HMS Vivid was the Navy barracks at Devonport. It was commissioned in 1890, and operated as a training unit until 1914. The base was renamed HMS Drake in 1934. A number of ships were renamed HMS Vivid whilst serving as depot ships for the base:
HMS Vivid was the original depot ship between 1892 and 1912.
HTH, Romilly.

Looks like D Shore on demobilization

Many thanks to Catfordcrooner and Romilly, but it is the word immediately below Vivid I that I am trying to decipher. It could be Kentine or Hentine and then in brackets Morris?, but I cannot find any WW1 ship that has that name.
-
The word in brackets looks like Morris to me.

HMS Morris was an M Class destroyer, commissioned in 1915. Built in John Brown's yard.
