I found the following in Le Courrier Australien (Sydney) newspaper , dated 19 June1908.

It is followed by a list of donors & the amount each donated.

Could you please translated the following french to english so I can understand the purpose/reason for gggf's donation from far away Australia?

"President Felix Faure" (presumably name of ship)

Fourth and last list.

Maybe he had a connection with the ship?
