Title: Stevenson family of Lutterworth

Frances Elizabeth Stevenson was baptised in Lutterworth 29 December 1758.  Her father is listed as John Stevenson, but no mother given.   There is also a William Stevenson baptised 23 April 1760 in Lutterworth.   Again, no mother given.   

There is a John Stevenson of Lutterworth who marries Mary Culcheth in St. Vedast, Foster Lane, London on 21 December 1757.   

I'm wondering if this couple could be the parents of Frances Elizabeth and William as I cannot find a marriage of a John Stevenson in Lutterworth around the right time.   

Any help appreciated.

There is a marriage on the Leicester Borough Marriages CD for
St Margarets Leicester 23  October 1743
John Stevenson to Elizabeth Ireland by Banns
But they had the following children ;
Elizabeth c 15 Oct 1744 father John
Sarah c 1 Dec 1745 father John
Jane c 21 July 1748 father John
Mary burial 6 Oct 1748 father John
John c 14 Oct 1751 father John
Ann burial 6 Sept 1751 father John

These details taken from St Margart's Parish Register, may be worth keeping a note of if only for ellimation purposes

Hi Vasquez109,
Yes, I did manage to sort out the Stevenson family with help from another descendant.  The marriage of John Stevenson to Mary Culcheth was the correct marriage but John came from South Witham and not Lutterworth.   His parents were John Stevenson and Elizabeth Moysey.
