Hello the new AOL users out there,
In the past we had problems with our set-up which meant that AOL users were blocked from receiving any emails from RootsChat. AOL very kindly helped us resolve the problems, and we are very grateful too them.
As a system admin here on RootsChat, I'm still however seeing that quite a few people who are AOL customers are failing to "activate" their membership once they have registered.
I would be interested to hear of any problems that AOL users have been experiencing.

I am with AOL and as far as I know have not had problems receiving emails. I did get some weird message just after you revamped the site apologising for deleting my name and that there had been a mix up between my email address and my screename but as I hadn't actually had any problems or been deleted I didn't think anything of it. I also had a notification of almost every message i have responded to sent to me recently. I logged on to find 110 messages overnight.

Hi all
I'm with aol and did have problems at first, I couldnt log on and when I requested new passwords I didnt recieved e-mails although I was informed they had been sent but I'm gald to say its been resolved now.

I am using Aol and have never had a problem. Aol blocks spam and unless you set your mail box accordingly, it will block out emails from this site.
