Mid to possibly late 1880s for a date, although the older lady is wearing a style from the 1870s. Quite the sartorial splendor the gent has on...and it doesn't quite match the look of the building in the background :) Kind of an unusual outdoor setting. Lovely photo!
Cheers,
China

I thought I'd posted this Sandie but somewhere something went amiss.
I guess a different strain of Lambert, there were quite a few tho' happily not as many as Martins ;)
My Lamberts began as far as I've looked with John 1790, never been convinced of parents for sure nor for his wife Sarah.
1790 John -surrey married Sarah Surname not certain.
Children all born Horselydown.
Sarah 1813,(Fuller) William Geo. 1818, 1822 Alfred William (Howitt)2 of his G.dtrs Edith & Dorthy(Dolly) b. Rotherhithe 1876-1889
1823 Samuel Geo.,(Mary A.Lucretia DEVALL) 1828 Emma- (Sparrow)d.1915 Forest Gate West ham
1830 George, 1835 Eliza Ann, 1836 William.(Ellen Collins)
