Title: Vancouver, BC newspaper lookup request

I'm looking for an article and/or obituary for William Fitzgerald Rodgers. He was shot on a street corner in Vancouver, BC in July of 1948. He was 24. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure if you have the BC death registration. It has been digitised and you can search for it on the following site. There is some information on the shooting in that record:

Yes, I do have the death registration but was hoping for a newspaper article about it. Thanks :)
