Hi, I am trying to find out which regiment my great grandfather served in during WW1. I know he was in the Army Veterinary Corps, he was a Private, and his regimental number was SE-14655. He lived in Kent so I wondered if the SE would have been for South East? His name was Harry Golding and he would have been 44 years of age when the war started. I would appreciate any help or ideas, thank you

His regt was the AVC. He most probably would have been working with horses in a a variety of depots etc wearing the AVC cap badge. His service records might be on Ancestry (30%) chance or in kew and they would say which Remount depots, or Army Vetinary Corps stations he would have been looking after horses at.
