Another photo from the small book of my Great Uncle killed in WW1. I have traced this chaps relatives via help from Rootschat members and await a reply so I can show them the pic and see what they know.
If it can be tidied up that would be fab.

Hi Frank
A restore only from me. I haven't gone over the writing because that's how I think it was originally, but I can if you wish. :)

You would think that with all the fantastic work done on this thread they might have popped in and said thankyou

Sincere apologies to the restoration friends who have done great work on my pictures. I thought I had posted a thank you and am afraid I missed it.
The last few weeks have been very fraught to say the least - new job, training courses and my step father being diagnosed with terminal cancer - if I took my eye off the ball and upset you I am truly sorry. A gentle reminder not sarcasm sometimes works better.
Best Wishes

So sorry to hear about your step father Frank, an awful thing and obviously very upsetting for you. Under these circumstances it's a trivial thing to have these pics overlooked and I'm sure everyone more than understands. I'm also sure that everyone will have you and your Step dad in our thoughts and prayers.
Kindest regards
Caroline
