Title: Looking for Wagstaffs and Wrights - bargees

Hi, can anyone help me find the children of James Wagstaff and Mary Cory?  They were born early in 1800s and married around 1826, I think but may be adrift on this one.

Mary's father, John Cory, was born in 1781 and was a boatman working canals from Manchester through Derby and possibly to Birmingham.

I think John's  name is entered as Corry or Curry
I have found Mary's father John on 1841 and 1851  census if you require those?

Mary had the middle name Ann -it seems

Marriage
8 Sept 1828
Stone Staffs
Mary Ann Corry
James Wagstaff

there was a child born before marriage who took the name Mary Maria Corry Wagstaff

will post census with James and Mary and children - hope that is what you require

Thanks Suz, census would be great.  Interesting that Maria was pre-marriage, I didn't know that.

I have found it difficult tracing people through censuses because sometimes they just don't appear for years then you might find just the one, once!

there is a tree on a******y which lists the following children

Jane 1844-1924
Caroline 1845-1909
don't know how well sourced these are-do you have any names?
