Hi Monica,

I hope I have placed this article in the right place.

I have now completed so far the website for the burials at Temple Village Midlothian, I have tried to make it as interesting as possible with loads of information, the url for the site is below.

 https://sites.google.com/site/templevillageburials/home

Please let me know what you think and any ideas please.

Regards.

Archie.

Wow and Wow...it looks fantastic Archie!

Just spent a while going through the various links and background stories you have added too. Really informative. Loved the photos too.

What really stands out, now that you have it all on one dedicated site with structure, is what an amazing and substantial piece of work you have collated and created here.

Just adding the link to your original post 'Temple Village Midlothian' for easy reference to those looking for it now:

www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=366809.0

This link is also on your website under the 'Contact' tab on the left which is a great idea to connect both.

Monica  :)

Hi Archie,

Great site, great piece of work. I have just spent last hour or two reading the stories and looking at the links. I am kind of disappointed that I have no family in that area. Great resource, well done, Archie.

Hi ev, Monica and Tom,

thank you all for your kind remarks and assistance, I thought at first I had maybe put too much on but I want visitors to learn more about the where their ancestors came from.

Sometimes a lot of text can put people off so putting photos on as you know speaks a thousand words, trying to find the right layout is a problem I would have preferred links at the bottom of some pages as well.

I will add more to it later as people get interested.

Cheers.

Archie.

I think you have done a brilliant launch of the site  ;) Undoubtedly, user comments will make you tweak things around for everyone's benefit and enjoyment of using the site. Any bugs will get ironed out once it gets used and tried (such as the hyper link to RC here https://sites.google.com/site/templevillageburials/contact  ;D).

Thanks Monica I am glad I have you and others to guide me and of course our friends out there will assist as well, it's a pity RootsChat don't have a gathering in Edinburgh say once year.

Cheers.
