Hi Lionel,
So that we can help in the right direction - What, more specifically, are you hoping to obtain information on in regards to John and his 2 daughters?
His parents, his siblings??
His wife, their mother?
Their husbands? their children?
Census? BDM?
Cheers

-
Did John die in WW1? There's an entry on the Soldiers Died in the Great War for a John Thomas Adamsb Magdalen, Oxon died of wounds 26/09/1917. Gunner, Royal Artillery.
-
yes thats the same man , i have his medals with plaque and service record , the details i have given are from the record
-
There's a death for a Wybray Adams b 1871 in Headington, Oxford but not until 2nd qtr 1918.
-
i just re-read his service file and the part where it says his wife is dead is actually dated nov 1919 so it could be possible that is his wife
