As there is no birth for a Bridget Maria on the indexes it is possible she changed her name for the wedding a birth is recorded for a
Mary GAGEN in 1847 Father Michael GAGEN mother Mary CROWE in Adelaide ref # 2/22
The Surnames names are varied for this family under GAGAN, GAGHGAN, GAHAGEN, GAGEN.

I note the difference in stated ages of BOTH bride and groom at the wedding in 1869. He states 27yrs but born 1839 she 19yrs. but 22 yrs if 1847?
Wondering if they are related to a couple of fellas I once motor raced against, the GEOGHEGAN Brothers. Both famous for wins at Bathurst and I could swear they came from SA. ::)

Bridget is noted as 19 years in 1869 so born c1850. There is a 10 year gap from 1847 to 1857 where no births appear to have been registered to this couple. Perhaps a visit to the Catholic Archives for a parish register search. I searched my resource using G*G*N so should have captured all the registered births.
