Hello to all......Could someone please help me to find information on my g/g/grandfather Isaac Spencer who married Priscilla Flower in 1818 at Melksham Wiltshire. What I am looking for is his death and if possible his parents, or anything which can be found about him. His son Mark Spencer my g/grandfather migrated to Australia in 1857 with his wife and 3 children.
Any help at all will be appreciated.......Regards Flocer

The 1841 census lists Isaac as born about 1796 and he was living in Melksham so there is a possible bapt on Family Search at the village of Seend in Wiltshire - a few miles away - in Nov 1792 with parents James and Hannah

In 1851 Isaac lists his age 68 so maybe he was older. There is a death of an Isaac Spencer age 81 in March Qtr 1867 Melksham 5a 81 from FreeBMD

So in 1841 he is 45 - in 1851 with the same wife 68 and in 1861 he is 75??? How strange
There is an earlier bapt on Family Search in 1787 in Melksham https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/N6S5-G8X ??

There is a Chelsea Pensioners' Service Record for the Isaac Spencer born 1793 in Seend. He joined the Royal Artillery in 1813 and left in 1827 so it could be less likely that he was the one who married Priscilla https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:V5HR-F3P Edit - He was discharged due to a general debility which first started in Corfu in 1818
