Title: 8/10/14 Wilfred Crossfield, Age 24, 1st Battalion, Royal Scots Guards

Wilfred was the 8th child of John and Esther Crossfield. In 1911 he was already with the 1st Battalion Scots guards stationed in Egypt.

Wilfred died from wounds on the 8th October 1914 in Hampshire and is buried at Netley Military Cemetery.
