Hi the only Alice I could locate b c 1917 was an Alice M B Dunkley b June qtr 1916 Rugby 6d 1486 Mothers maiden name Well, Rugby is the registration district for Hillmorton

Hi Sandy, what makes you believe George Mee was b c 1916 Watford area?

I presume you do not have the marriage certificate to possibly supply his father's name & occupation?

There's an Arthur J Mee b. Q3 1916 in Pancras RegDistrict, mother's maiden name Rigby.  The next earlier Arthur Mees were b. 1913, and the next later was Arthur W Mee, b. Q3 1917 in Hackney, mother's maiden name Shufflebotham.
