Hi all,
This is a weird request because I seem to have so much info on this family but can't find most of them in 1911 census.
Info -Peter Richard and Sarah Harris who I have found in 1911 census had eleven children all born colchester. To date I have found none in 1911. Here are some of them with info I have:-
Herbert Charles born 1892 married 28/2/1917 in Toronto Canada.
Alfred Walter born 29/8/1888 married Ethel Cockrell at St Leonards church, Colchester 15/1/1912
Albert Edward born 27/4/1887 married Ethel T Faiers 13/4/1911
With that info they should be easy to find but I am having a nightmare ???
Any help would be greatly appreciated

If we can find them, we aren't allowed to give you any information as the 1911 census is covered by copyright laws! :(
Sorry!

-
Alice S T Harris m 1902 Colchester Horsfield or Pressnell so worth searching with either of these names if you haven't already done so.
-
Will post this information in case you do not have it and to correct info an ancestry tree that says Herbert Charles Harris died in Colchester in 1959 ???
Death certificate for Herbert Charles Harris - 26/4/1987 Vancouver British Columbia.
Informant is a daughter - same daughter mentioned on the death cert for Ethel Harris in 1983.

Do you have Herbert's date of arrival in Canada ? There is a possible in 1911 , before the date of the 1911 census , which you may already have ruled out.
-
I think you meant Emma Faiers , not Ethel. They married in Canada too. According to the 1921 Canada census Alfred arrived in Canada in 1909. They are in Windsor , Ontario in 1921.

Hiram George Horsfield served with the Cameron Highlanders as a Colour Sgt and was discharged in Perth in 1913. A search of ScotlandsPeople brings up 1 result in 1911 for Hiram Horsfield and another for Alice Horsfield in the free search. I don't have any credits as I have no Scottish connections so you will need to purchase some if you want to check it out.
Have now read the Service Record which confirms Alice S Harris father Peter Richard as a witness to their marriage.
4 children listed : Charles William 1904 Fort George, Ellen Constance 1905 Arbour Hill , Henry Albert 1907 Inverness , Ella May 1907 Auldearn
