Would someone kindly restore this photograph please.It is of Private John Charles Siseman temp grave. He Emigrated from England to Australia in 1913 served in 4th Battalion Australian Infantry AIF. Killed in action 23.7.1916 Age 18.Final resting place in Pozieres British Cemetary France. Many Thanks

Thank you Pat That is so kind of you . It took nine years to give him a proper resting place but in all that time Australia corresponded with his parents

The knife is a bayonet, and as Pat says this is so sad, a battlefield grave complete with sandbags edging................... We will remember them.

As you have been online several times since I restored your photo.. and have not responded to the work carried out by me...I take it that you have all the restores you need and mine are surplus to requirements so I have removed them.

Carol I am sorry I dont want to offend you I couldnt save them when I came online as i wasnt on my computer. I should of said that and I do appreciate people helping and commenting
As an added note i am still finding myself around , being new , Thank you to all who have left comments and took time to restore the photo.
