Hi

Over 60% of WW1 service records were burnt during the WW2 blitz.  Of those that survived – there is no trace of the person you are looking for

To lookup any entry for him on the Medal Roll Index (MRI) for him I would need his regiment or his regimental number as there is more than one entry for his name

The records for a John William Riley from Lonsdale Street are on Ancestry but wrong marriage date. Who did John marry? Was it Elizabeth?

That can't be the correct one.
The record shows that he married 25 June 1910

Hi Rolnora,

That's why I wanted the name of the person he had married in case it was a wrong date or a second marriage.
