Need a trace if possible.
Yardley Bowman married Thomas Snell on 2 June 1754 at Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.
I have been unable to find any information on Yardley or the surname Bowman prior to her marriage to Thomas, just drawing a complete blank.
Any ideas?

Family search lists
Name: Yardly Boman
Gender: Male
Christening Date: 25 Jan 1731
Christening Place: SAINT JAMES,BURY SAINT EDMUNDS,SUFFOLK,ENGLAND
Mother's Name: Frances Boman
I know it says male but I don't think the sex of the child was listed at this time in the registers so may be a guess by the transcriber.

Hi Maz,
Yes, I guess this is what happened. It is a first link but there seems to be nothing about Yardley or Frances Boman (Bowman) apart from this one entry

Taken from a transcript of BSE St James parish register.
Yardly a base child of Frances Boman baptised 25th January 1731
An Ottly and Martha Yardly were baptising children in the parish around this time, e.g. Martha on 4th October 1731.
Ottley Yardley SM married Martha Salsbury widow in the parish on 19th Sept 1729
Frances Boman widow buried at BSE St James 28th March 1772
(I checked the transcript for a (male) Boman and Frances (unknown) marriage prior to 1731 but could not see one in this parish).
