Title: Helen Maresi and Shaun wiltshire
Post by: noble1945 on Monday 15 September 14 19:25 BST (UK)
Hi I am looking for two things one the marriage to Shaun Wiltshire by Helen maresi which I think was in New York city about 1945 to 1950 and if possible the birth of their first son born January 1950 but was killed in a road accident later that year.

thank you for your help

Hi,

Unfortunately, there are no marriage indexes that cover that time period.  The site below

http://www.fultonhistory.com/fulton.html is usually worth a look to see if a wedding announcement or report was in local newspapers.

A previous thread mentioning this couple - http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=562343.0  Is Mr. Wiltshire deceased?

There is a newspaper article that gives a marriage date here - http://www.newspapers.com/newspage/70583306/  If you scroll to the bottom, you can see the text without paying.

Hi,

Gent remarried 1994. Realise some of these sites can be out of date but found the gentleman still listed in San Rafael.

Thank You Sandra, the article in the newspaper text was very informative. Yes I knew about his marriage in 1994 but what I was really looking for which was ans by the newspaper cutting was their marriage in 1948.

Now of course the next question is their first born born in 1950 and killed in a road accident in the same year on the east coast before they moved west.

many thanks for your help

If the man in question is not known to be deceased, then I will need to remove his name from this thread, as it is against the rules of Roots Chat to post about people who are or may be living.
