Hi All!
This is part of a photo I have of my grandfather on a group outing taken in the south of England in the early years of last century- before the Great War certainly. The two guys at the back are wearing some sort of uniform. Are they charabanc drivers? telegram boys?? Any ideas please?
Thanks as always

I think they are all postmen, the middle man being a mail coach driver

Bandsmen perhaps? ....... the fellow on the left looks as though he is holding an instrument as does the one on extreme right (looks Scottish?) could be holding drumsticks?

Thanks for the suggestions .. I hadn't considered either of those. The group of men in the photo are probably on either a works 'Beano' or less likely a cycling tour. Some music would fit in with the 'Beano' idea I suppose. They do look like cold weather coats though.

I wonder if the boy centre back is wearing a school blazer and a straw boater with a wide ribbon round the crown, the brim is not easily seen as being very thin the angle hardly shows it.
The two either side could be errand boys of some sort or telegram delivery boys.
