Good Morning
A kind Rootschatter provided me the death information for
Donald Mackintosh died 29 May 1876 Aboyne, Aberdeen aged 49 years
Donald was born around 1827 in Kilmonivaigh, Invernesshire
His mother and father are listed as James Mackintosh, farmer and Christina Mackintosh nee Cameron
I am unable to find a marriage record for this couple on SP or FamilySearch
Any assistance would be appreciated :)

From 1841 when you pick up Donald, you haven't been able to connect him to family unfortunately :-\ As you know, this period before the start of official registration in Scotland from 1855 is tricky...and very patchy in terms of records in the Old Parish Registers.
There may not be a marriage entry in the Registers to be found, for all sorts of reasons :-\
But as always with this type of research, we stay ever hopeful ;)

Hi Monica,
Thanks for the "glimmer of hope"
I am woefully ignorant of Scottish records so any pointers are appreciated :)

Good Morning,
Just looking through the "Ever increasing pile of paper" I note that on the
1861 Census for the Mackintosh household in Coire Creagach they had a visitor named
Christy Mackintosh, married, aged 48 years (birth around 1813), Farmers wife born Kilmonivaig, Invernesshire.
??James wife Christina :-\
