Hi all,

Please can someone help me with my quest?  I found the marriage certificate for someone in my family tree - Florence May Gold (born March 1914) to George William Gold and Ada Mary Wright.  Florence married Arthur J Pearce (think the middle name is John) in 1935 in Romford, Essex.  On the wedding certificate it states that Arthur's father was Edward Charles Pearce, Naval Pensioner.  Trying to find out more about this person.  Florence and Arthur were both about 22 when they married.

With a common name, I'd start by checking the 1935 home address of the groom to see if he was still living with parents/siblings.

Does it appear on the certificate?

Hello, groom was living at 21 or 23 Shaftesbury Road Romford.  Florence was at 5 Albert Road Romford in 1914 I think.  Thank you.
