What sort of information are you looking for? have you found census records? wills? valuation records & directories? vital records?
If you let us know wht you'd like help with it will give us a starting point rather than spend time searching for details that you already know.

Hi aghadowey
Not too used to these forums so please forgive me for being a bit slow!!
I have "Emerald Ancestors" search for J Lilley, George & Harriet (birth entries) and a British Army Service record copy for the father and copy will. Also have Harriet Fraser Lilley's copy will.
My main aim is to find the grave of the Lilley family. I believe they are together in Carnmoney Burial Ground, however the first burial was Joseph Lilley in 1904/5. Have been to Carnmoney a number of times but cannot find any headstone as far back as that. Also, only recently we have found the records of George Wilmont Lilley; we have no info on him other than birth 23.7.1869. We didn't even know he existed so anything on him, would be great.
Hope to hear from you.

Hello puddleduck
Didn't notice your post yesterday, but good to see others did and have given you lots of great help already.
Just wanted to welcome you to Rootschat and let you know that myself and another rootschatter have been researching various Lilley (and variants) families in County Antrim/County Down for 10 or more years now and between us have amassed a fair amount of findings on a number of different lines, so we too would be happy to help if we can. I'll try and get a chance to check my own records this week, to see if there is anything else I can add to what you have already been given links to.

Hi scotmum
That would be great. Thankyou.

A little bitt more on George. He looks to have travelled to the US onboard the Columbia that arrived 31st May 1908, albeit for some reason his name and details are scored through on the arrival records and indeed some details aren't even recorded, so perhaps he didn't complete the journey on that occasion. His name, with no score through, is on the departure list of 23rd May from Londonderry though.
Nellie Irvine arrived on 16th December 1908, and the passenger arrival record noted she was travelling to her friend, George Lillie, at the Globe Hotel, Cedar Rapids, and that her nearest friend/relative in country of departure was her mother, Jane Irvine, of Skegoneill Avenue, Belfast (so this 1901 census entry http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Antrim/Duncairn_Ward/Skegoneil_Avenue/1005028/ albeit as Irwin) . This ties in well with the marriage record entry aghadowey linked to, showing a marriage on 18th December at Cedar Rapids.
