Hello
I was hoping someone may be going to the Northamptonshire records office and would possibly look me something up while they were there.
My ancestor George Crowden died in Uppingham in 1828 and he left a will. I actually know the reference needed for it which is (PWill, R2, Box 13, page 130). What I am looking for is to know if he mentions his son William in the will.
I would be extremely grateful for any help.
Thankyou
Rich

Hi Rich
Did anyone get back to you? I'm going up on Thursday so can have a look for you.

Hi
Thanks for the reply. No no one's got back to me yet so if you could take a look i'd be very very grateful. I wouldn't want you to waste alot of your time on it though.
Thanks again

That's fine. I'm only checking bad records for myself so it'll be nice to have something a bit different to look at

Hi
I was just wondering if you managed to get to the records office the other day? No worries if not.

It's open from 9 - 4 today as it's the first saturday of the month

Ok. It's happened to me a fair few times when i've arranged to the archives and i've had something come up.
-
I'm definitely going Tuesday as I'm meeting my friend up there.
-
I've pre ordered the will so it should be ready when I get there
-
I went up today and found the will (after lots of looking as it was under the name Croden not Crowden). There is no mention of William but lots of mentions of John. When I get a moment I will send you the transcript if you send me your email address.

Thanks so much for looking for me. Although there is no mention of William it may still be helpful. If you could send me the transcript that would be brilliant. My email address is richardbeeley78@hotmail.co.uk.
Thanks again
