Hi Alan
Thanks for the reply, this is what I have been trying to find out, all I know is that John Cooney and Mary Flynn (Flinn) are from Wexford.

Kaisergee,
I can't see any Cooneys in my tree so far - however I am still working backwards. If they were from Wexford I believe that there were some Flynns south of Gorey - but I haven't got to them yet.

Hi 'Alan
Found this site by accident, intrigued by Flynns from Wexford. I have relatives (Flynn) around Gorey. My father was born in Gorey, and my Grandfather Flynn is buried in Craanford just outside Gorey. My grandparents were married in Craanford about 1901 (unverified). Grandmother was Charlotte Redmond who presumably lived in Craanford, I don't yet know where Grandad or gg grandad came from. He was Michael Flynn.
There are not too many Flynns in Wexford.
Your posting is quite old so this may not reach you but I would be interested if you have made any connections.
