Does anyone know what became of Heath Farm at Nocton ,Lincoln or the family that lived there? (Topham ?) I came across a photo of a derelict farmhouse on another forum which may or may not be the farm , but further enquiries are drawing a blank.
Can anyone help please

Have you got a link for the photo?

There's an album of them here. https://www.flickr.com/photos/joncoupland/6015915512/in/photostream/
I can't find a farm of that name on any old map. I think the photos are simply of a ruined farmhouse on Nocton Heath.

That farmhouse has been deserted for about 40 years. It's on the A15 between Green Man Farm and Boundary Cafe.
Many years ago, someone I know enquired about buying it but the owner wasn't willing to sell.

That one wouldn't be Nocton at all would it? Boothby or Blankney or Navenby or Meg, but never Nocton? ???
-
Not Nocton, but it is Nocton Heath. Boundary cafe on the A15 is Nocton Heath.

The photos I saw were the same as Geoff link. I think it was definately Nocton as it is on my original birth certificate. It is given as Heath Farm, Nocton and the farming family was Topham. That was in 1958

That farm in the link is definately off the A15 near to Nocton Heath.
