looking for info on how this relative got his militarymedal.
sgt Ernest Bilton I have 3 numbers for him,3020,60057,305?92
He received his medal on 3rd of april 1917 for action in france.

His records are on Ancestry.He was aged 19 yrs and 9 months when he joined up and his abode was Balderton. Injuries to right leg and hands, may have had leg amputated?. Do I have the correct man?

"Awarded M.M. for gallantry in the field. Operational in France April 3rd 1917."
Father William Bilton, Queens Cottage Balderton.
No more information on how he earned his MM. Maybe in the records for his regiment?

According to a battalion history four military medals were published on the same date one was to:
305892 Lance-Sergeant E Bilton, 4th Army Order June 1st 1917. There are two references to Lance Sergeant Bilton in the text which should give details:
