Hi all,
Looking for the date of death and location grave of Leonard George Rapson. All I know he was born 1904 and died 1978. Buried somewhere in Norfolk. Married to Nancy (burke). Not sure if she was alive in 1978. He was an RAF man. Stationed at RAF Vailey Oxford 1947-1953. That's all I know abot him.
Any help greatly appreciated.

The death is registered in the Wayland registration district which covers these parishes

You may need to buy the certificate to locate the area. He may have been cremated :-\

That would be great Norfolk and grately appreciated.
He was married to Nancy Burke. Don't think she's still alive, she would be over 100 years now.
Again thank you very much.

Hi there had a drive out to Mundford this evening and could not find a head stone or a plaque on the wall for him or Nancy . Lovely churchyard a credit to Mundford.Would he have been buried where he was born ie family grave regards Steve

Hi Steve,
thank you for taking the time to drive to Mundford. He was born in Kent, Gravesend 1905. Don't know where he lived when he died. All I know that his death was registered 1978 Wayland. If Nancy was still alive then (or if they were still married) I don't know either. More questions then answers I'm afraid.
Again thank you for your time.
regards

Are you sure it was His death or another L G Rapson ? What is your connection to himSteve
-
I'm not sure of anything atm. All I have is his name, his wifes and childrens names. He was with the RAF from 1920 to 1950's and his death was registered in 1978 Wayland Norfolk.
I have no connection with him. But my nan had 2 beautiful photos of him dated 1920s. I think he was her first love. An uncle of mine is interested in him and would like to know where he is buried.
