I've been researching our family history for about 10 years now and as you can imagine am well stuck on some of the branches - particularly the Jaffé's from Germany, the Lazarus's and Simon's from Russia, and the Nixon's and Bradburn's from Ireland. Hoping that some of the users of this site will have posted useful bits of info and that I can help out if I have some good leads.

Hi RachaelB
Welcome to Rootschat ;D
There are lots of resources here which might be useful to you.
You'll need to navigate to the relevant boards from here
http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php
There's a search button at the top of the screen which might give you some results and also the surname interests table, the link can be found in the brown area at the bottom of the screen.
If not, try posting a question here and see what happens.
If the moderators think your topic may be better answered elsewhere, they will move it for you.
Happy hunting
