Could anyone tell me what the word after Robert says and also what does the last word say and where is it ?? I know it is in or around Colvend , Kirkudbrightshire. Many thanks.

I think it says Robert lawful son of William, meaning Robert was a legitimate son of William.

Iam glad Robert was described as Williams lawful son , as I cannot find a marriage for him and Mary. I will now try to find out where Knockhooly is / was . Many thanks.
