Title: Lishon Family

Hello all, does anyone recognise the name Lishon? I have a Thomas Lishon born c1787 in Framilode, who moved to Blaenavon, Monmouthshire sometime between his birth and 1826 when his first child was born there. Its a strange one as some later generations spell the name as Leyshon, which is a much easier name to track. Just wondered if anyone has come across this name in this form as when I google it nothing really comes back. Thank you.

Take a look at familysearch. They have Lishons in several English counties in addition to your Monmouthshire Lishons.
